blind certificate
A digital certificate which does not contain the name or other identifying information about the user to whom it is issued. Such a certificate can be used to verify some limited information about the user or to associate a user with a series of communications or transactions without revealing the identity of the user. Applications include revocable cash transactions and ongoing anonymous communications over the network.
