Project management
bx.com has invested heavily in our project management capabilities. Our seasoned project managers are experienced in advanced techniques and disciplined to ensure that all aspects of your project are carried out on time and on budget. In addition to in person and phone meetings, we utilize our unique on-line development-tracking tool. This tool allows you and your management to follow your company’s development progress closely. In addition, you can easily communicate with all members of the development team at any time and track every aspect of development through fruition.

Project development team
bx.coms’ project development teams are led by a senior project manager. In which they ensure that your project is managed accordingly to your timelines and budgetary requirements. Your dedicated project manager will also work closely with you and your account executive to maintain effective communication during the project as well as on through-out your ongoing relationship with bx.com. Leads in each of the disciplines, who in turn manage their department's efforts, support the project manager.
The departmental leads are:
Design Lead
The design lead will direct graphical design and ensure that the desired look and feel will be consistent throughout the web site.Technical Lead
The technical lead is responsible for understanding your business rules and translating them into application specifications.Development Lead
The development lead is responsible for actual development of the web site.Quality Assurance Lead
The quality assurance lead will ensure that all data requirements and rules are met, and testing is completed.

Project tracking: your development web site
bx.com will maintain a private client web site for you to facilitate project management and communication. This web site is hosted in a private area on the bx.com web site, with password login. The development site will be live 24 hours per day and accessible to all authorized members of your company. Information that will be posted on the development site includes the development and milestone calendar, all team member contact information and e-mail addresses, project updates and changes, all design work inclusive of this project, a feedback section for general comments or direction, site architecture breakdown and prototypes for Web-based interfaces, e-commerce and database construction.
This site will remain dynamic throughout the development of your web site, and is intended for frequent usage. In addition to posting progress on this site, your project manager will provide weekly project updates via email to all interested parties in your organization.

Initial development meeting
To formally launch your project, bx.com will chair a meeting with appropriate members of your company at our Development Office in Providence RI.
The agenda of this meeting will be the following:
- Identification and introduction of the bx.com team assigned to this project.
- Proposal Review for any modifications and / or clarifications.
- Design & Technical Review.
- Assignment of responsibilities for development elements.
- Co-ordinate calendar for the development of this web site.

Project milestones
The development plan that we finalize in our initial meeting becomes the foundation of the project. Clear milestones with formal checkpoints will be defined through each developmental process. Any changes or modifications to the plan are incorporated into these milestones, which are always available on your development site. We will use these milestones to track the progress and ensure that the project will be delivered as promised

Change management
Often, once a project is started, new ideas and new functionalities are often identified. Although these can add value to your site, they may require additional investment. Managing change is critical to the project's ultimate success. We maintain a strict change management process to ensure that we identify any changes in regard to their scope, and any additional investment required.
