BX.COM Is Changing Its Name to pureCommerce
PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwire - Jul 8, 2011) - Effective immediately, BX.COM is changing its name to pureCommerce. "Changing the company's name to pureCommerce better reflects who we are and our business focus," stated Mark Shapiro, Founder and CEO of pureCommerce (formerly known as BX.COM).
The pureCommerce name was originally used as the product name for the eCommerce solution. Over the last ten years, the eCommerce platform has continuously expanded and became the main focus of the company. "This natural evolution eliminated the confusion about the direction of the company," Shapiro continued. "We are excited about this pertinent change."
All vendors, customers and prospective customers are requested to update the company name to pureCommerce and the corresponding email addresses from @bx.com to @purecommerce.com by July 15, 2011.
